2025 THE VAULT Code of Conduct

Submission of the response "I Accept" on the ThriftCon Vault Code of Conduct form will hereby serve as a signature and agreement by the application's submitting party. 

All individuals who exhibit, work, attend of take part in ThriftCon are required to behave in accordance with this ThriftCon Code of Conduct. ThriftCon Management reserves the right to deny entry or remove from ThriftCon any person who behaves or threatens to behave in a manner which is in violation of this Code of Conduct or the ThriftCon policies referenced below (and others addressed in the Vendor Terms & Conditions). Each ticket/wristband/credential is a revocable license to attend ThriftCon.

PRESENTATION

  1. Interesting and unique booth build outs are encouraged, however must adhere to the safety and special regulations of the venue. Please ensure all builds are appropriate by first consulting with event management beforehand.
  2. Unlike standard vendor booths on the ThriftCon floor, The Vault is to have no inventory merchandised in piles, in aisles or on the floor (within reason).
  3. ThriftCon will provide all Vault vendors pipe and drape as a back wall of their booth. This wall may be used to house inventory on with appropriate hanging devices such as chains, rope, mesh or otherwise. No holes, tape, hooks or other damaging hanging materials may be used on the fabric drape material.

MARKETING

  1. At times, ThriftCon may partner with sponsors in The Vault sales area. All vendors confirmed for that area must comply with the Mandatory collaborations. Deliverables must be completed UPON DEADLINE DATE (given at a later time). ThriftCon must also give vendors adequate time and instructions to do so.
  2. Any vendor within the Vault area are required to post on social media about the event. Mandatory social media posts include one standing grid post at least one week prior to the event, as well as 3 story posts starting 3 weeks prior to the event.
  3. All marketing materials must represent the event adequately and tastefully and include important guest information like time, date, location and include ticket links when appropriate.

MISCELLANEOUS

  1. NO WEAPONS: ThriftCon has a zero tolerance policy for weapons of any kind, especially guns. Security and local law enforcement are trained to treat anything that looks like a real gun, like a real gun.
  2. NO SMOKING/VAPING: There are dedicated areas outside to smoke or vape if necessary. Ticketing staff and security are required to allow vendors the right to go in and out to do so.
  3. NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL: Any vendor caught bringing outside alcohol into the venue will be asked to leave without a refund and banned from future ThriftCon events. Likewise, no one under 21 years of age is allowed to consume alcohol on the premises.
  4. NO HARASSMENT/FIGHTING: ThriftCon has a zero tolerance policy for fighting or harassment of any kind. 
  5. NO GAMBLING: Gambling on the event floor is prohibited. Violation of this policy may result in the immediate removal from ThriftCon.
  6. NO TRANSFERRING VENDOR CREDENTIALS: Vendor Wristbands are to be used/worn solely by officially registered ThriftCon vendors. Any reselling, scalping, transferring or otherwise may result in an immediate removal from the event.
  7. NO COUNTERFEIT ITEMS: Both state and federal law prohibits the sale of counterfeit items. Knowingly selling or distributing fake or counterfeit items  may infringe on a company's copyright or trademark and likely exposes the seller to legal action. ThriftCon reserves the right to remove any items from its event floor that are, or are suspected to be, fake/counterfeit.

ThriftCon reserves the right to change elements of the Code of Conduct and to make interpretations of the conditions listed above. ThriftCon reserves the right to enforce any breach of this Code of Conduct, including but not limited to expulsion from the event, referral to the authorities and future bans.
