VENDOR ESSENTIALS

VENDOR BADGES - Vendor Wristbands are to be picked up during load-in on Friday, July 31st at the Red Tent labeled "Check-In" and put on before entering the building.
How many you receive depends on the booth size purchased:
10'x10' = 3 Vendor Passes
10'x20' = 4 Vendor Passes
20'x20' = 5 Vendor Passes

*Do not give away or sell extra Vendor Wristbands to anyone who is not vending with you. If you are found to have done so, you will forfeit your booth without a refund and be asked to leave.
These cannot be used as access for early shopping on Friday during load-in for those not officially vending at the event.

VENDOR PACKETS - A more detailed Digital Vendor Packet with booth assignments, Show Guide and load-in instructions will be sent to your registered email and texted to your phone # on file at least one week prior to event day.

LOAD-IN/LOAD OUT - All vendors are permitted and strongly encouraged to load in the day before the event (Friday, July 31st). You will have an assigned time slot to do so.

  • CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13 ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE BUILDING OR ON THE LOADING DOCKS DURING VENDOR LOAD IN AND LOAD OUT.

TABLES/CHAIRS/EXTRA PASSES - You may order extra tables, chairs and Vendor Passes at any time — up to a week before event day. We will be sending out a text with the order form soon!
*Or simply reach out to vendors@thriftcon.co and let us know what'cha need!

CUSTOM VENDOR FLYERS - We will be sending you personalized marketing material for social media. Hold tight, they'll be in your texts/emails the week of 07/06 or earlier. Custom videos will follow shortly thereafter.
If you'd like to start promoting immediately, click the "IG SIZED FLYER" link above!

COMMUNICATION - We will be sending out a lot of information about the event over the next several weeks to your registered text and email. Please make sure both your carrier settings and email inbox is set up to receive those and that you are reading them before coming to the event.

If you have ever texted "STOP" to a ThriftCon text in the past, you will need to text "START" to +18775457979 to reinstate text messaging.

We cannot promise that any other form of communication, like Instagram DMs, will be responded to.

LOSS PREVENTION - We know, we hate it too. However, ThriftCon and venue security is not responsible for missing or stolen items from your booth. We do everything we can behind the scenes to ensure that it doesn't happen, but this is also a fast-paced retail environment with retail problems. Please keep yourself and your team up to date on successful customer service techniques to deter shoplifters in your booth and always, always USE YOUR VENDOR PASSES TO BRING EXTRA HELP.

BOOTH RULES

BULK/WHOLESALE SELLING - ThriftCon does not allow vendor booths to host "By the Pound" or "Fill-a-Bag" type activations without prior written approval. If you are planning on this type of sales strategy, please reach out to vendors@thriftcon.co first so that we can ensure it doesn't conflict with ongoing contracts we have with sponsors.

FOOD & DRINK - We strongly suggest you pack something to bring as large crowds often make it difficult to dip out and wait in long food/drink lines. Concessions will be available at the venue on Saturday only.
Per venue contracts, no food or drink can be sold at Vendor booths. This includes exotic or collectible snacks. No outside alcohol. Ever. Never.

REFUNDS - Booth fees for this event are non-refundable after July 13th, 2026. Booths are also non-transferrable and cannot be sold/given away to someone else. If you cannot vend at the event please reach out via email to vendors@thriftcon.co as soon as possible to let us know.

RESELLING - Again, transferring your booth space to someone else is strictly prohibited. We often have a large waitlist that we need to honor if you're unable to vend at ThriftCon. If you can't make it, hit up vendors@thriftcon.co as soon as possible.
Anyone caught reselling their booth space won't be asked back to vend at any future events.

SOUND - Personal speakers or other amplified sound is not allowed at individual booths. The attendees hate competing soundtracks. Sorry.

SPACE - ONLY BRING WHAT WILL FIT INTO YOUR ASSIGNED SPACE. Inventory in the aisles is not allowed per fire regulations and could get your booth shut down and banned from future events. This includes, but isn't limited to: clearance piles, racks, displays, tables, chairs and/or hanger sorters.
THIS IS INCREASINGLY BECOMING MORE AND MORE PROBLEMATIC. WE TRY TO BE AS COOL AS POSSIBLE ABOUT THIS BUT ARE BECOMING LESS SO. ONLY PACK WHAT WILL FIT IN YOUR BOOTH, PLEASE.

TENTS/CANOPIES - E-Z Ups or other types of pop up tents are allowed, but the canopy cover is not. That means if you plan to use a tent, you can only use the frame, no covering. This is a fire regulation and out of our control unfortunately :(

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

EVENT HOURS

  • ALL VENDOR LOAD IN -
    Friday, July 31st | 10am-5pm
  • EVENT DAY -
    Saturday, August 1st | 9am-6pm
    *Early Bird ticket holders are let in at 9am!

PARKING - We have the lot directly across the street reserved for vendor parking. It will also be where you unload from and load into the building. There is a super limited amount of space in this lot, which means:

  • ONLY ONE VEHICLE PER REGISTERED VENDOR. That means if you included your boothmates on the application, great, they get to park one vehicle. If not, they don't have a parking space and won't be allowed into the lot and also cannot load from the street. They must find an alternative method to get their inventory inside. Effective right now, we cannot add any more names to the list either.
  • TRAILERS: Parking staff will be limiting the amount of POVs with pull-behind trailers into the lot. To do so, YOU MUST HAVE A TRAILER PASS. Without one, you will not be let into the lot to unload your items. You also cannot park on the road to unload or load.
  • COST: Other than the optional cost of a trailer pass, the fee to get into the lot is nothing. Zero. Zip. Nada. We did this to try to make the event as reasonable as possible for vendors. In exchange, we ask that you follow ALL staff rules and directions coming in and adhere to the one vehicle per registered vendor protocol.
  • GATE PASS: LINKED HERE is the Navy Yard Gate Pass. You will show this to the gate guard for access into the Yard. The easiest and closest entrance to use is Clymer St.
  • LOAD IN/OUT: This is a paved lot but it's not the best paved lot. It's pretty rocky and uneven. Bring whatever carts/wheels you need to be able to get through the lot, across the street, and into the venue.
    *We do not have carts available for you to use, unfortunately.
If you need ADA accommodations or have any questions about the process, text (833) 366-2616 to reach ThriftCon staff.

*Please note, we do not have control over venue parking and their rules and/or fees. As an exhibitor, it is your responsibility to understand the process, vehicle limitations and payments before coming onto the property.

WIFI - Service in our venues can be unpredictable, especially during peak hours when there are thousands of people in the building.
You can order WiFi connectivity through this dedicated link. Passwords will be sent to you on Saturday morning before the event begins. The cost is $60 presale / $100 day of event.

**PRO TIP: Be sure to read up on offline transactions, have adequate cash on hand or figure out other means of payment if there is a dead zone during the day.

ELECTRICAL - ELECTRICAL ORDERS ARE NOW CLOSED

WAIVER AND RELEASE - An email will be sent to your registered email address titled "ThriftCon Exhibitor Waiver and Release From Liability 2026" from a platform called SignNow. This will need to be signed, dated and sent back to us before you can vend at the event. (It's super easy, just click and send via the linked page in the email.)

THRIFTCON SECURITY - There will be several security personnel, including uniformed police officers, on the event floor to ensure the safety of ThriftCon guests. They are not there to protect your inventory from shoplifters. Any extra Vendor Passes should be used to bring extra hands internally to help with any personal booth measures.*
*If you would like to hire your own uniformed security for your booth through the venue you may do so by contacting vendors@thriftcon.co
